Rob Phillpot

Co-Founder, Aconex

The Gravel Road Foundation was established in 2008 by Rob Phillpot and his wife Clea. It aims to find people, particularly young girls and Indigenous Australians with drive and potential but who have something holding them back – and give them a chance to shine. Organisations supported by the Foundation include Kids Under Cover, Rumbalara Football & Netball Club, the Man Cave and Backtrack.

Rob is a founder partner at Glitch Capital and CEO at Gravel Road Ventures. He was also co-founder of Aconex, a Melbourne-based construction-tech company that was sold to Oracle for $1.6bn in 2018 – at the time, the largest technology acquisition in Australian history.

“Through the Foundation I want to find and encourage those who can make a positive difference.”
