Emerging technologies like Web 3.0 and AI have the potential to transform philanthropy, if they’re designed to serve the best interests of the community.
Antonia Ruffell facilitated a session with Nick Boniciolli from Optible AI and Benjamin Alder from The Wellbeing Protocol to explore this fascinating topic at the Philanthropy Australia Conference 2024.
In addition to being a vehicle for increased productivity and efficiency, Optible is working with government on an AI-based solution to access grant applications based on an agreed set of criteria. Their product is freeing up grant accessors’ time to build deeper relationships with applicants, and bring greater consistency and equity to the grant-making process.
And Benjamin is developing a new kind of public good infrastructure that’s enabling local communities in NZ and the UK to build power and improve their community’s wellbeing on their own terms.
Thank you to Nick and Benjamin for taking the time to bring your ground-breaking work to the conference.
