JJ Fiasson co-founded Leonardo.Ai in 2022, building it into one of Australia’s fastest-growing AI companies before its acquisition by Canva in 2024. 

Under his leadership, Leonardo grew to tens of millions of registered users who have created more than a billion AI-generated images. Post Leonardo’s acquisition, JJ was appointed to lead Generative AI at Canva.

Together with Dan Ilic and Paula Kruger, JJ has co-founded the Impartial Institute, an incubator to empower a new breed of emerging, progressive independent storytellers.
