Coinciding with the StartGiving team’s visit to Perth for West Tech Fest, we brought together a group of founders, entrepreneurs, and investors over dinner to discuss how the WA tech community can give more.
Invitees included those curious about how personal giving could fit into their story, as well as experienced tech givers who were happy to share what they’ve learnt along the way.
Acknowledging that sharing stories helps normalise giving, the room listened to guests talk about the catalysts for their giving, where they give and why, and the barriers that stop people taking those crucial first steps on their giving journey.
