Chris Bayley is the Co-Founder of Cover Genius and Founding Partner of Deck2 Capital. Cover Genius was founded in Sydney to protect the customers of the world’s largest digital companies. The “insurtech” pioneer has attracted over US$200 million in investment capital and counts Booking.com, Uber, Expedia and Revolut as partners. Prior to starting Cover Genius with his business partner Angus McDonald, who remains CEO, Chris was one of the first few team members of Google Australia.

After Chris stepped down from day-to-day work at Cover Genius in 2024, he established Deck2 as an operating partner investing alongside private equity in companies that distribute insurance.

Through the Sar Bayley Foundation, Chris has founded and funded social impact startups in the US, Australia and South-East Asia with a particular focus on education and the Arts.
